There are various effects of hormones on the skin, and as the situations in our lives change, the hormones released in the body change, and so does their impact on our skin.

First signs of any hormonal trouble is noticed when we reach puberty and the androgens are released into the system. These hormones make the sebaceous glands act a lot leading to acne flare ups. This is the time to take extra care of your skin as it changes quite a bit.

A few common things to do to maintain skin care and hormones:
Eat healthy: If your diet is balanced and provides your body of all the nourishment then the hormones will stay balanced as well.
Curb your caffeine intake: Caffeine makes changes to the chemistry of the brain and that can play a lot with the release of hormones in the body. Manage your intake of caffeine to maintain the release of hormones.
Sleep well: It’s important to sleep on time and as much as it essential for the body to get proper rest so that the hormones stay balanced and do not over react due to lack of rest.
