This Ansr Review looks at acne light treatment as a means of getting rid of acne. Is this type of therapy effective enough to actually work? How does it work? Answers revealed.
Acne Light Treatment is one of the newer forms of acne treatment to appear. This type of therapy, also called phototherapy, is a technique that combines different wavelengths of light to kill acne and stimulate collagen.
Good news indeed for acne sufferers, and it gets even better. You can apply this therapy yourself, in your own home, using a small state-of-the-art hand held device.
It’s been approved by the FDA, and clinical tests have shown that using the light therapy treatment for three successive days can reduce bacteria in the skin pores by around 99%.
This all sounds very good, but just how expensive are these light devices?
Well, most of them retail between $250 – $400, but you can get your hands on a full light treatment kit here for much less than that! (link below) The full kit consists of an LED that emits both blue and red light beams, a cleanser, a day cream, and a night gel.
How Does this treatment Work?
Twelve minutes twice a day is all that’s needed to apply the treatment.
1) First, you prepare your skin by gently massaging the cleanser on to the infected area, and leave it for about 30 seconds, to enable it to work, and remove dead skin cells.
2) Next, gently run the LED over your skin for ten minutes. High intensity blue and red light waves penetrate the skin. The device switches from the blue to the red light after 5 minutes. The blue light waves kill bacteria that clogs the pores, and the red light waves stimulate collagen production, rejuvenates the skin, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
3) Then apply the cream (in the daytime) or gel (at night). The day cream is a moisturiser that helps keep the skin from drying up, and the night gel, which is more concentrated, penetrates deep into the pores to fight the acne-causing bacteria. That’s it, you’re done.
Acne Light Treatment Summary
I have to say I liked this (unusual) It’s a great alternative to expensive, and risky, laser surgery, and much more convenient. What you’re getting with this device is the power of laser surgery, harnessed in a device small enough to hold in the palm of your hand.
It’s completely safe, there are no known side effects, and it’s so easy to apply.
There’s only one negative …..
You will have to keep using the Acne Light Treatment, even after your acne has cleared. Having said that, it will still be effective if you reduce the frequency of your treatments to once a day instead of twice a day. Is it an acne cure? I can’t say, after all we each respond differently to different treatments. But, as a way of treating acne, it’s hard to beat.
What I can tell you is that Light Therapy Treatment has an impressively high success rate, and I think it’s a whole lot better than popping pills for the next couple of years.
